Our play “Mothers”, directed by Rajna Racz, continues its journey along the Ruta (Regional Theatre Union) Festival route after Skopje — with the next stop being the Belgrade Drama Theatre on 4 December!

Our performance “Girls”, directed by Tjaša Črnigoj, will be presented on 10 November at the Prešeren Theatre Kranj in Slovenia as part of the contemporary performing arts festival Drugajanje.

Our 2025 premiere “Mothers”, directed by Rajna Racz, is hitting the road across the region as part of the Ruta Festival (Regional Theatre Union)! The first stop is Skopje, North Macedonia, where we’ll be performing on 29 October at the Drama Theatre Skopje.

After receiving the Audience Award at the Zürcher Theater Spektakel festival in August, "Girls" continue to conquer Switzerland! This time, we will be performing at one of the most prominent theatres in the country — Théâtre Vidy in Lausanne — with as many as five performances from 3 to 8 October 2025.

Over seven days, from 28 September to 4 October, 2025, in Rijeka, we’re bringing you seven outstanding guest performances and one video installation! For this year’s selection and organization, we’ve joined forces with the long-running Zoom Festival, produced by Drugo more since 2010.

After performances on Brijuni island and in Rijeka, our latest documentary theatre play “Mothers”, directed by Rajna Racz, will have its Zagreb premiere on 15 September at the Ribnjak Youth Center, followed by three performances in Ljubljana from 19 to 21 September at the 31st International Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts – City of Women.

Our play “Girls”, directed by Tjaša Črnigoj, has returned from the prestigious Zürcher Theater Spektakel festival with the Audience Award!

The documentary film “Black Wool” by Mara Prpić, about our documentary theatre play of the same name, will be screened at the Liburnia Film Festival in Opatija, Croatia, on 28 August!

This may be the greatest success of any of our plays so far — “Girls”, directed by Tjaša Črnigoj, has been selected for the Zürcher Theater Spektakel festival, where we’ll perform three times, from 19 to 21 August. On top of that, the play has been nominated for the festival’s ZKB Patronage Award!

After a beautiful start to the play “Mothers” at Ulysses Theatre, we finally brought it to Rijeka! The performance, scheduled for 17 July as part of the Rijeka Summer Nights festival, was sold out weeks in advance.

The premiere of “Mothers”, directed by Rajna Racz — which concludes our women’s trilogy — will open the 25th season of Ulysses Theatre on 11 July!

The third and final discussion circle on the topic of (non-)motherhood will take place on 27 May, led by renowned Slovenian theorist and editor Pia Brezavšček, who will give a talk and moderate a discussion titled “Mother and/or Feminist?”

We’re returning to the international performing arts festival Crossings in Maribor, Slovenia, with the play “Girls”, directed by Tjaša Črnigoj, which will be performed on 17 May in the Amphitheatre of Maribor II Grammar School.

Among the participants presenting community-related artistic practices at the international art-science conference "Service Learning: Art and Social Engagement", our members Anja Sabol and Vanda Velagić also held a presentation.

As part of the workshop series at the Acting and Media program at the Academy of Applied Arts in Rijeka, together with director Rajna Racz, we will present — both theoretically and practically — our collaboratively developed work on a new performance exploring the theme of (non-)motherhood.

Our first presentation at a scientific conference was delivered by Sendi Bakotić in Split, as part of the conference Creative Methodologies in the Performing Arts: Research Questions. The event was organized by the Croatian Association of Theatre Critics and Scholars.

We invite you to the second meeting of the (Non)Mothers circle, with the theme Balancing motherhood with work in the professional art field, which will take place online via Zoom on 31 March at 5:00 PM CET. The discussion will be moderated and introduced by art historian Lucija Lunder from Slovenia and it will be held in English.

We are thrilled to announce that "Girls", directed by Tjaša Črnigoj, will be performed at HAU Hebbel am Ufer in Berlin on 21 and 22 March as part of the festival Everyday: Feminist Struggles in Post-Socialist Europe.

We invite you to join a (reading) circle that we initiated with director Rajna Racz as part of the research for our new documentary theatre production "Mothers", which explores a woman's decision about motherhood.

The play “Girls”, directed by Tjaša Črnigoj, closed the regional Ruta Festival on 3 February with a sold-out performance at the Ljubljana City Theatre.
