"Mothers" sold out at Rijeka Summer Nights

After a beautiful debut at Ulysses Theatre, Mothers have finally arrived in Rijeka! The performance, scheduled for 17 July at 9 PM as part of the Rijeka Summer Nights festival, was sold out weeks in advance. Occasionally, new ticket batches were released, as we worked together with the organizers from the Croatian National Theatre Ivan pl. Zajc to add more seating on-site for the audience.

The documentary play Mothers has come to life in a unique setting of the Ethnographic Museum on Veliki Brijun island, and it was now adapted to be performed in front of the State Archive in Rijeka, in Nikola Host Park. Thank you to everyone who came, and to everyone who fought to get a ticket. Thank you for all your messages, reactions, and inquiries about future performances in Rijeka.

We premiered the play at Ulysses Theatre because there wasn’t an adequate venue in Rijeka for rehearsals and performance preparation. Thank you to HNK Ivan pl. Zajc for organizing our Rijeka premiere—we’ll do everything we can to return to perform in our city again soon!
