The Play "Mothers" and the Film "Black Wool" at the Festival in Buje

As part of the “Let Me Be / Lascia mi essere” festival, taking place in Buje from 29 to 31 May, we will present the play Mothers, directed by Rajna Racz, and the documentary film Black Wool, directed by Mara Prpić.

On Saturday, 30 May, at 7:00 p.m., Mothers will be performed at the Buje Public Open University, followed by a roundtable discussion at 8:00 p.m. At 8:45 p.m., the documentary film Black Wool, about our play of the same name, will be screened.

The Let Me Be festival comes to Buje for the first time, bringing three days of film, theatre, poetry, performance, and conversations that “connect us, open dialogue, and change the way we see one another”. It is organised by the Buje Public Open University, the Town of Buje, and the Buje Tourist Board, with the support of the Solidarna Foundation and local partners.

We are happy that Mothers continues its journey through Istria, and that after a longer pause, the short documentary film Black Wool will once again be screened, carrying forward the life of our beloved play created with members of Oaza, the Rijeka Association for Homeless and Socially Vulnerable Persons.
