Anja has been working as speech therapist at a primary school in Rijeka since 2019 and as assistant lecturer in Stage Speech and Accentology at the Academy of Applied Arts in Rijeka since 2024. Previously, she worked with children with disabilities and as drama educator.
As an independent actress, she performs in various theatre and independent film productions. She continues her professional development through seminars and training, including: Contemporary Performance Practices – Troubleyn (Jan Fabre) and SITI Company (Anne Bogart), Chekhov Technique (Studio Kubus; Scott Fielding), Meisner Technique (Steven Ditmayer, Amsterdam), Voice Work – "Sourcing Within" (Ang Gey Pin). She participated in the theatre camp of the EU Youth in Action project – Theatre for Active Citizenship, led by the cultural network INCA.
Special interests: devised theatre, independent film, art therapy, voice-movement work, education, and professional development in performing and artistic practices.
