Inclusive performance of "Girls"

We are delighted that Girls were performed on 23 January as part of the Inclusive subscription series at the Croatian National Theatre Ivan pl. Zajc in Rijeka.

As part of this initiative, the performance was adapted for individuals with visual and hearing impairments. It featured subtitles, sign language interpreters positioned at the edge of the stage, and audio description, allowing blind and visually impaired audience members to follow the performance through headphones. At the same time, the show was enjoyed by both deaf and blind audience members, as well as those who can hear and see. And the best part? We had a conversation about the experience after the performance!

We are deeply moved to have been part of this small yet significant step toward creating a more inclusive and supportive society in our local context. Theatre for all! Culture for all!
